I have also a significant part of my practice devoted to the probate of and administration of decedent's estates, including the probate process and summary administration of estates. I can assist the family and heirs of persons who have died in Florida or Illinois or who had property in Florida or Illinois. Probate is the legal process used to carry out a person's will after their death. As a probate attorney, I will advise you on how to perform the steps in the process and prepare and complete the paperwork necessary. In general, once the Personal Representative has identified and collected the dead person's belongings, including their money, property and other assets, and the person's debts and taxes have been paid, their money and property is distributed according to the language of the will.
Documents which are frequently drafted by me include: Wills, Living (inter-vivos) Trusts, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Life Insurance Trusts, Asset Protection Trusts, Charitable Trusts, Living Wills, Domestic Partnership Documents, General Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Care Powers of Attorney and Appointments of Health Care Surrogates and all documentation and services regarding the probate of estates.
I would be happy to meet with you in order to determine the nature of the work and the kind of documentation that may be needed.
